In order to open a class there needs to be at least 5 participating students registered. Class are subject to change.


Ballet 1   Ages 7 & UP            Monthly Tuition $50                Tuesday  5:00pm-6:00pm

Ballet is the foundation for all other dances and is known for it's grace, strength, endurance and flexibility. Our ballet classes progresses from level 1 to Pre-professional classes. Our students learn proper technique, body alignment, musicality, choreography, and proper ballet terminology according to their level. 


Attire:

Girls - Black leotard, pink ballet shoes, pink skirt, pink convertible tights, hair in bun.

Boys - Black shirt, Black jazz pants, black ballet shoes

Ballet 2 & 21/2   Ages 9 & up      Monthly Tuition $50     Tuesday 6:10pm-7:10pm

Evaluation  required 

Ballet 2 is designed for our  students that have taken ballet 1 and have shown understanding of the foundational techniques taught in level 1. 

Approval from teacher is needed.

Boys - Black shirt, Black jazz pants, black ballet shoes

Exousia Elite Dance Team      Tuesday 7:15pm-8:15pm          No tuition fee

This class is for committed students that want to learn how to use their gifts and talents to impact the world. In this class we will explore all genres of dance and learn many different choreography's. Students are coached and trained to lead classes as well as using team work to put choreograph dances together. There will be opportunities through out the year to engage in community outreaches.

This class is an introduction to both ballet and tap. Students will learn the proper fundamentals and terminology. The 1st half of class will start with ballet and 2nd half with tap. Students will have fun learning the technique,  combinations and learning choreography together.


  Attire:

Girls-  black leotard, black ballet skirt, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, hair up.

Boys: Black jazz pants, black shirt, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Tap & Jazz   Ages 7 -10           Monthly Tuition $40               Wednesday 5:55pm-6:40pm

This class is an introduction to both jazz and tap. Students will learn the proper fundamentals to jazz and tap. The 1st half of class will start with jazz and 2nd half with tap. Students will have fun learning the techniques , combinations and learning choreography together.

Creative Movement Ages 3-5    Monthly Tuition $30   Thursday 5:00pm-5:30pm

A fun energetic class that teaches children rhythm, coordination, and memorization through movement. This class helps improve; motor skills, self-esteem, and creativity. We have so much fun dancing to our favorite music and learning different styles of dance.

Ballet 3 & Pointe   Ages 10 & UP

Evaluation Required

Ballet 3 is designed for our more advanced students that have been taking ballet classes for several years and have shown understanding of the foundational techniques taught in level 2 and 1. Some students in this class will begin pointe and further down on this page shows the requirement for starting pointe. 2 ballet classes are required to take this class. 

Approval from teacher is needed.

Tap 1 & 2   Ages 10 & UP          Monthly Tuition $45          Thursday 7:30pm-8:20pm

Students will learn fundamentals of Tap which include : terminology, combinations, choreography and rhythm.

Dancers fitness training class   Ages 7 & UP           Monthly Tuition $40                Friday  5:00-5:45

 Fitness training class is for the students who want to build stronger bodies, promote better agility, and improve flexibility.

This class is made to improve and fine tune dance techniques that are needed for all genres of dance.  Concentrations will be on core strengthening, cardio, muscle strengthening, and flexibility for full range of motions in the ligaments, joints and tendons. 

 


Attire

Girls- dance pants, leotard, dance shoes or tennis shoes.

Boys: dance pants,  shirt, dance shoes or tennis shoes.

Exosuia Dance Team

Class requirements

Must have completed 2 years of dance

Must be taking at least 1 other dance class a week

Must be approved by instructor

Must be committed and willing to travel to events.

Attendance to classes is required (students with poor attendance will be removed from class.)

Beginning Pointe

Requirements for Beginning Pointe 

Must be evaluated and pass assessment requirements

Student must be 12 or older

Must have taken 3 consecutive years of ballet training

Required to take ballet classes 2X a week 

Must have taken Pre-Pointe for several months to a year

Required to take Strengthening and Conditioning for the first year of pre-pointe

Assessment is as follows:

Proper Turn Out

Rolls through the feet

Pointed toes with no sickling

Proper use of foot and metatarsal

Proper Posture

No rolling of ankles

Grand plies (in all positions correctly)

Strength in feet and legs

Pique Passe

Can balance on demi pointe

Demonstrate 32 releves

Strong core

*A more detailed assessment can be provided when requested




Classes are subject to change due to student participation.

  • Classes begin the 1st week of September 
  • Monthly Tuition is due on the 15th of every month
  • Late fees will be 10% for accounts that are past due
  • Siblings will receive $10 off (excludes creative movement $5 off only)
  • Add an extra class receive $10 off (excludes creative movement $5 off only)
  • Discounts will be made after the 1st student or class is charged full price
  • Recital fee $50 per student - monthly payments can be made
